“I have never been to Alaska. For me, it’s a gigantic, magical place full of gold, dog mushers, volcanoes, salmon, and forest — where sometimes nights last all day, and days last all night. Growing up at the foot of the Rockies, I’ve always loved mountains, and I miss them terribly. Hopefully I’ll be able to see them again in the future; to go home, go north, and go see Alaska.”
